The service was prompt the gentleman I saw seemed very proficient and attentive with dealing with me.
I Arrive via taxi as I rang 111 and told it would take 7 hours for a retirn call.
On arriving with a racing heart I was checked in and told to sit down and wait to be seen
The place was full and waiting time was 8 hours .
The place looked like a dirty pub on a friday night , rubbish all over the place , what ever the things was that was hanging off the walls.
While sat waiting I needed the toilet ,Jesus I was nearly sick the outside gutter would have been better !! Yes people use it ,but where is a cleaner ..
There was a few old people 70s plus 1 old guy just sat alone near the front door in a wheeel chair falling in and out of sleep. (Me leaving some 10 hours later and still there )
Never spoken to , never asked if he wanted a drink.
The nurse come's in shouts and name with a face like thunder taking blood pressure's
Finally 4 hours later My bloods need re doing as thay are Slightly out she says
Been sat here and my partner arriving from work in york we ask If I can go home and come back

"What to this place ,I dont think So "
No wonder the place as hit the news , id like to meet the person that managers it , cos he/she it isnt making a very good job ..
Id be ashamed to call myself a cleaner , a Nurse at that place .
Kind, caring and clear consultation given at every appointment.
Very punctual appointments
Guide by Gp to get in the minor injury treatment centre to do a x ray, get in there staff didn’t mention about have to book in with emergency department before get treatment, waited there one hour for nothing. Have a go to emergency department to book in then keep waiting, should be mentioned by staff when talk to them, took less than two minutes to get this info. One hour at least been wasted.
I was seen straight away due to my symptoms.
All staff were amazing and so caring and compassionate.
The Department was extremely busy but the staff managed to find me a couch and made time to check on me and keep me updated.
I received the appropriate investigations and treatment very quickly despite how busy the Department was.
I was seen my the orthopaedic team and had an urgent MRI scan.
The staff that took me for my scan were lovely and very kind and supportive.
I was found a bed and stayed overnight- again the staff were lovely and very caring despite how busy they were.
In the morning, i was discussed at the Orthopaedic Trauma meeting and told i could go home - this was done in a timely manner and all staff were lovely and very supportive.
My daughter had the opportunity to stay with me all the time which was an added reassurance for us both.
Quick service and friendly helpful staff
Seen promptly , all staff and Dr touch points were friendly, engaging and helpful despite been obviously busy , tired and stressed
Patient care was brilliant, from entering the endoscopy ward from reception right through the to the endoscopist performing the procedure everyone showed great care, dignity and respect. The member of staff that took my obs and filled in paperwork with me really stood out I felt very anxious and nervous but she made me feel more relaxed immediately lovely member of staff.
The nurse was rude to me and because I’m a regular attendee due to ongoing issues was made to feel insignificant. I was in agony all over my body went hours without any pain relief and made to lay on a doctors couch as was no proper trolleys. Was crying in pain that much I have all sorts wrong but no sympathy given at all from the nurse or health care who ever it was she treated me very poorly even doctor felt sorry for me and tried to get me a proper trolley but said that nurse kept saying no when every bone in my body felt broken and shattered and I was visibly in pain and was offered a chair instead when I was struggling so badly and needed to lay down. I was sleep deprived too.
Excellent care from everyone. Consultant and team were caring, supportive and informative. Theatre prep with anaethestist and theatre assistant was superb! After care from nurses and Health Assistants was faultless.
